The VerifiedAlarms server allows the connection of intruder alarms and CCTV cameras to provide an extremely effective virtually false alarm free security system that is very effective and that gives protection to a higher level than legacy alarm technology.
The server provides security in many ways.
- By linking alarm zones to cameras installed in your home so that when alarms are triggered images are captured from the correct cameras and sent to the alarm receiving centre.
- Some cameras have their own sensors and can be armed remotely. When your intruder alarm sends its "I am active" message to the alarm receiving centre the network will arm your cameras. When the alarm sends its "I am inactive" message to the alarm receiving centre the cameras are automatically disarmed.
- The same cameras can be armed and disarmed by sending SMS texts and through the internet. There is no necessity for a legacy alarm panel.
However you use the system it is possible to view images sent in alarm through your own web login.
In the event of alarm images are (optionally) sent to your mobile telephone or your email address. The server will analyse the images and send the one that has the most motion detected.
Some services allow the connection to your cameras in live mode. This very secure way to access your cameras because you connect to our servers and they connect to your installation.
If you choose to subscribe to one of our partner alarm receiving centres they will never be able to connect to your installation without your permission - by alarm activation and if you ask them to undertake a visual patrol (you can even select which cameras you want them to visually patrol).
The cameras are ideal and relatively simple to install for anyone with basic networking ability (installer should be able to set up port forwarding on your network). Complete kits of cameras and cameras with router are available to order direct from VerifiedAlarms and our partners.
